
Sunday, April 22 the headquarters of Catania Astrophysical Observatory will be open to the public as part of initiatives for the XIII National Week of Astronomy.
The day's program provides exposure of the panels of the Solar System Tour (starting from 9:30), guided tours
(9:45, 11:45 and 12:30) to solar telescope for observation of the photosphere and chromosphere and an opening ceremony (10:30) followed by a public conference entitled "Research in Astrophysics in last 50 years. "
As for logistical reasons it will be possible to admit only a limited number of visitors, to attend the opening ceremony, the conference and for observations of the sun will need a reservation.

Anyone interested in following the opening of the event and the conference can book, at its option, a visit to the telescope of the hour 9:45 am or 11:45. The reservation will be confirmed via e-mail. The visits are free.
